Twitter Tips and Resources – Part 56

Posted on 03 August 2011

This is Part 56 of an ever-growing blog series, with each post featuring links to 10 useful, funny and/or provocative articles/lists/blog posts/videos/sites I’ve come across about how to use twitter more effectively (and how NOT to use it).

Here are the latest 10:

  1. “How to Use Twitter: 5 Ways to Improve Your Results” by Debbie Laskey (@DebbieLaskeyMBA on twitter)
  2. “How To: Be Awesome On Twitter” by Diana Adams (@adamsconsulting)
  3. “7 Ways You Can Be Fricking Awesome on Twitter” by Stephanie Quilao (@skinnyjeans)
  4. “Top 10 Ways to Market Your Small- or Medium-Sized Business on Twitter” by Tammy Kahn Fennell (@TammyKFennell)
  5. “Who can see your “replies” & “mentions”?” by Ray Beckerman (@RayBeckerman)
  6. “Twitter Tip: What is a hashtag (#) on Twitter?” by Alicia Cowan (@AbsoluteAlicia)
  7. “6 Reasons Why Potential Customers Won’t Follow You on Twitter” by Charlene Kingston (@SocialMediaDIY)
  8. “Seven Twitter Follow Faux Pas” by Paul Chaney of Practical Ecommerce (@practicalecomm)
  9. “15 Things that Twitter calls spam” by Shakthi Vadakeypat (@v_shakthi)
  10. “Please Don’t Make It Impossible for Me to Tweet Your Blog Post” by Crissy Page (@Crissy)

For a list of links to Parts 1-55 in this series (which was born on May 19, 2009), see the Twitter category on this blog.

Would you like to recommend any other good twitter resources? I certainly don’t list EVERY article about twitter that I see – I might recommend an article that I disagree with, if I think it contributes something useful to the debate, but I won’t recommend an article that I think is badly written.

Happy tweeting!
