Twitter Tips and Resources – Part 46

Posted on 09 April 2011

This is Part 46 of an ever-growing series of blog posts, each one featuring links to 10 useful, funny and/or provocative articles/lists/blog posts/videos/sites I’ve come across about how to use twitter more effectively (and how NOT to use it).

Here are the latest 10:

  1. “7 Mistakes of Social Media Wimps” by Sally Hogshead (@SallyHogshead on twitter)
  2. “A no-nonsense guide to sharing and promoting content on Twitter” by Mack Collier (@MackCollier)
  3. “Is Twitter for Everybody?” by Mark Schaefer (@markwschaefer)
  4. “9 Twitter Etiquette Tips for Businesses Starting Out on Twitter” by Neal Schaffer (@NealSchaffer)
  5. “Is Your Social Media Intern Ready for Corporate Tweeting – 7 Questions to Find Out” by Mike Brown (@brainzooming)
  6. “20 Guidelines for Twitter Success” by Sarah Mitchell (@globalcopywrite)
  7. “Twitter Basics – The 5 basic rules for happiness on Twitter” by Ray Beckerman (@RayBeckerman)
  8. “How to Use Twitter for Business” by Paula Pollock (@pullmarketer)
  9. “10 Tips to Avoid Being a Twit on Twitter” by Stefan Pinto (@StefanPinto)
  10. “How To Avoid Accidental Tweets & Disasters” by Lisa Barone (@lisabarone)

For a list of links to Parts 1-45 in this series (which was born on May 19, 2009), see the Twitter category on this blog.

Would you like to recommend any other good twitter resources? I certainly don’t list EVERY article about twitter that I see – I might recommend an article that I disagree with, if I think it contributes something useful to the debate, but I won’t recommend an article that I think is badly written.

Happy tweeting!
