Twitter Tips and Resources – Part 45

Posted on 31 March 2011

This is Part 45 of an ever-growing series of blog posts, each one featuring links to 10 useful, funny and/or provocative articles/lists/blog posts/videos/sites I’ve come across about how to use twitter more effectively (and how NOT to use it).

Here are the latest 10:

  1. “Most frequently asked questions on Twitter” by Aaron Lee (@askaaronlee on twitter)
  2. “How to Find Twitter People that Don’t Suck” by JD Rucker (@0boy)
  3. “Strategic tweeting for authors” by Alan Rinzler (but he doesn’t seem to be on twitter)
  4. “Twitter in business” by Dom Bradbury (@PunchDom) on Social Media Today (@socialmedia2day)
  5. “Why Getting Followed Back Ain’t All That” by Amber Naslund (@ambercadabra)
  6. “Twitter Marketing Success Secrets Webinar Review” by Kim Cole (@KimberlyACole)
  7. “Social Media Automation, Respect, Credibility And Robots” by Mitch Joel (@mitchjoel) – about automating your tweets, and why NOT to do it
  8. “How to Use Twitter for Marketing & PR” – a video from HubSpot (@HubSpot)
  9. “7 Indicators of Twitter Influence” by David Armano (@armano)
  10. “Tips on tweeting live” by Mary Hamilton (@newsmary)

For a list of links to Parts 1-44 in this series (which was born on May 19, 2009), see the Twitter category on this blog.

Would you like to recommend any other good twitter resources? I certainly don’t list EVERY article about twitter that I see – I might recommend an article that I disagree with, if I think it contributes something useful to the debate, but I won’t recommend an article that I think is badly written.

Happy tweeting!
