“Creativity, Inc.” by Ed Catmull of Pixar Animation is a must-read book for anyone who manages people and companies in creative industries (or anyone who wants to nurture creativity in their organisation, regardless of the industry). It seems to me that much of what Catmull writes about creativity and the Pixar culture is actually about approaching things with an improvisational mindset.
