Twitter Tips and Resources - Part 50
Posted on 19 May 2011
Amazing! On the second anniversary of this ever-growing blog series, I’ve reached Part 50! Each post in the series features links to 10 useful, funny and/or provocative articles/lists/blog posts/videos/sites I’ve come across about how to use twitter more effectively (and how NOT to use it).
Here are the latest 10:
- “Get tons more peeps to read your Tweets with this 1 simple idea” by Mark Shaw (@markshaw on twitter)
- “Social Networking: Twitter v. Facebook” by Jessica Faust (@BookEndsJessica)
- “How to Build Your Twitter Tribe” by Leo Widrich (@leowid)
- “A Dozen Tools to Unfollow Inactive Twitter Users” by Matthew Tommasi (@matthew_tommasi) on Social Guide (@socialguide)
- “5 Ways to Use Twitter to Connect With Local Customers” by Charlene Kingston (@SocialMediaDIY)
- “CEO’s Repeat After Me: “We are Not Afraid to Tweet” + 21 Success Tips” by Pam Moore (@PamMktgNut)
- “Ten Twitter Mythconceptions” by Harry McCracken (@harrymccracken)
- “7 Things Not to Do on Twitter” by Douglas Idugboe (@douglasi)
- “10 Terrible Tweet Types Killing Your Twitter Strategy” by Rohin Guha of Blue Phoenix Media (@bluephoenixnyc)
- “40 Tried And Tested Twitter Tips For Newbies, Apprentices And Pros” by Shea Bennett (@sheamus)
For a list of links to Parts 1-49 in this series (which was born on May 19, 2009), see the Twitter category on this blog.
Would you like to recommend any other good twitter resources? I certainly don’t list EVERY article about twitter that I see – I might recommend an article that I disagree with, if I think it contributes something useful to the debate, but I won’t recommend an article that I think is badly written.
Happy tweeting!

Kay,
Well done…
I have a deep appreciation for bloggers who don’t mind sharing the limelight.
A 50 part series is some serious blogging dedication…
Keep cranking the killer content
Thanks Jesse! I like sharing good information - and I’m very picky about what I share. Kay
