Don’t Be A “Killer” Marketer
Posted on 06 October 2009
In recent months I’ve seen lots of e-mails, e-newsletters, invitations and tweets that use variations on the word “kill” in order to tempt me buy a product, use a service or attend an event. For example:
- Make a killing and earn thousands
- Learn how to create a killer elevator speech
- Kill your competitors with this sure-fire system
No thanks! I don’t want “killing” to have anything to do with how I do business or relate to people.
How do YOU feel when you see the word “kill” in a sales message?
No responses yet. You could be the first!
